Download
========

    You don't need to download sources if you install vacumm with :program:`conda`
    as proposed in these sections
    :ref:`user.install.prereq`,
    :ref:`user.install.installs`,
    and :ref:`user.install.installer`.


Tarballs
--------

Tarballs are available here : https://forge.ifremer.fr/frs/?group_id=93

To uncompress a tarball, just use for instance::

    $ tar xzf vacumm-3.0.0.tar.gz


Repository
----------

The development version of the library is available on its
`GIT <https://git-scm.com>`_ repository (https://github.com/VACUMM/vacumm)::

    $ git clone https://github.com/VACUMM/vacumm.git

.. note:: Subversion users can use ``svn export`` instead of ``git clone``.


To get a tag after cloning, use::

    $ git checkout TAGNAME
